< Back to News Home Buffalo Flash Announced their Partnership with Thurman Thomas Sports Training

Posted (01/24/2010) - The Buffalo Flash of the United Soccer League's W- League will be announced the

partnership with Thurman Thomas Sport Training and will utilize their expertise in perpetration for the 2010 Season. This announcement took place on January, 23rd 2010 at 11:30am at Sahlen Sports Park in Elma, New York.


Thurman Thomas who played for the Bills for 12 season and was elected
to the National Football League's Hall of Fame operates two sport training facilities in the Buffalo area.

Buffalo Flash, a women's professional soccer franchise in the Buffalo area was founded by Joe Sahlen and Sahlen Packing Company in 2008. In their inaugural season the Flash posted a 10-3-3 record on the way to a playoff appearance.


Head Coach Aaran Lines of the Buffalo Flash utilized Thurman Thomas
Sports Training on a limited bases in 2009 and plans to expand their role further for the 2010 season. "I was happy with Thurman Thomas Sport Training last year. Our conditioning was second to none in the league and I would like to continue that relationship for the 2010 season."

The Buffalo Flash will begin their 2010 season in May and will play their games at Demske Sports Complex located at Canisius College campus.
